What is ROSy

ROSy (Rotterdam System) is a modular interior structure based on a perforated board pattern.
It comes in a variety of parts and pieces which can be joined for almost any need.
Build your own working structures, shelves, storage systems, exhibition booths,
fair structures, shop systems... and change them around quickly to suit your needs!

Plus: return them if you don´t need them anymore.
ROSy has an embedded take-back-system: It is a material library,
that takes back parts and pieces and gives them another meaning at another place.

Sebastian Kubersky

Artist, loves the sledgehammer as much as finessing details. Weeks of squinting in front of the screen are followed by weeks of meticulous production in the workshop. All this is combined with a touch of bricolage responding to the installation´s needs on location.
Sebastian studied philosophy at Universität Hamburg and Fine Arts at HfbK Hamburg.

Christine van Meegen

Designer, occupies an out-of-the-box approach towards projects. She strives for understandable and simple designs. She is the initial spark for ideas, she conceptualises and brings people together, all topped with an insatiable material nerdism. Christine has a background in interior architecture and studied Social Design at Design Academy Eindhoven.

During Young Art Night, Studio C.A.R.E. was present with a performative presentation of all horses in the stable: the game Trojan House and the Curated Catastrophe Service. Since it was the opening of the 80’s exhibition that night in the museum, the interior was delicately chosen to fit the topic. Also, we installed a double floor filled with earth, so visitors could get the most out of the evening- and we had so much fun!

The awesome visitors performed a range of 7 cards from Studio C.A.R.E.s game Trojan House with us:

Card # 11: “The Circus – walk over every furniture that you possess”
Card # 12: “Awkward – what is the most awkward place in your home? Make a phone call from this location and describe exactly where you are”
Card # 16: “Senses – Explore one wall in this room with a tool of your choice”
Card # 26: “Traces – Scratch surfaces in your home with your fingers or tools around you. Think of wallpaper, floor covering, …”
Card # 27: “The magician – Invent a magic spell to transform your home into something else. Write down the spell on a small piece of paper and say it 3 times. Light a candle and burn the paper”
Card # 32: “Destroy – Destroy something of value in your home that is yours”
Card # 34: “You are shocked – Try to look very shocked. Practice different expressions in front of the mirror”
